Von der Leyen, 'lavorare su hub migranti come in Albania'

BRUXELLES, 14 OTT - "Dovremmo anche continuare a esplorare possibili strade da percorrere riguardo all'idea di sviluppare centri di rimpatrio al di fuori dell'Ue, soprattutto in vista di una nuova proposta legislativa sui rimpatri. Con l'avvio delle operazioni previste dal protocollo Italia-Albania, saremo anche in grado di trarre lezioni pratiche". Lo scrive la presidente della Commissione europea, Ursula von der Leyen, nella lettera inviata ai leader Ue in vista del Consiglio europeo del 17-18 ottobre. Von der Leyen chiede ai capi di Stato e di governo dei Ventisette di "lavorare su modalità innovative per contrastare la migrazione illegale".
