ROMA, 29 GIU - Le forze americane hanno distrutto nelle ultime 24 ore sette droni e una stazione di controllo mobile nelle aree controllate dagli Houthi nello Yemen: lo ha reso noto su X l'esercito statunitense. "È stato stabilito che i droni e la stazione di controllo a terra rappresentavano una minaccia imminente per gli Stati Uniti, le forze della coalizione e le navi mercantili nella regione - si legge in un messaggio del Comando centrale -. Queste azioni sono state intraprese per proteggere la libertà di navigazione e rendere le acque internazionali più sicure". "Il continuo comportamento maligno e sconsiderato degli Houthi, sostenuti dall'Iran, minaccia la stabilità regionale e mette a repentaglio la vita dei marinai nel Mar Rosso e nel Golfo di Aden", conclude Centcom.
