BRUXELLES, 20 GIU - "Cipro è uno Stato membro dell'Ue, ogni minaccia a Cipro è una minaccia a tutta l'Unione Europea". Lo ha detto il portavoce del Servizio di Azione Esterna della Commissione Europea commentando le dichiarazioni di Hezbollah sul possibile coinvolgimento di Cipro nell'allargamento del conflitto nel Medio Oriente. "Seguiamo da vicino le tensioni fra Libano e Israele e diamo il benvenuto agli sforzi di Usa e Francia per calmare la situazione: è necessaria la de-escalation e l'Ue è in contatto con i rappresentanti del Libano e altri partner nella regione", ha aggiunto.
