Navalny: Londra sanziona 6 presunti responsabili della sua morte

LONDRA, 21 FEB - Il governo britannico di Rishi Sunak ha annunciato di aver imposto sanzioni su sei funzionari russi, additati come presunti responsabili della morte in carcere di Alexey Navlany, oppositore di Vladimir Putin. Lo rende noto il Foreign Office. Gli individui sanzionati non potranno viaggiare nel Regno Unito e si vedranno congelare asset eventualmente individuabili dalle autorità britanniche. Si tratta del comandante della colonia penale siberiana in cui Navalny è morto da detenuto, il colonnello della guardia penitenziaria Vadim Kalinin, e di 5 suoi vice: i tenenti colonnelli Sergey Korzhov, Vasily Vydrin, Vladimir Pilipchik, Aleksandr Golyakov e Aleksandr Obraztsov. Nel comunicato del Foreign Office si ribadisce poi che il governo Sunak chiede "un'inchiesta trasparente" sulla morte dell'oppositore del Cremlino e sostiene con forza l'appello della famiglia Navalny per "la consegna immediata" del cadavere.
