Congo: imbarcazione prende fuoco, almeno 143 morti

(ANSA-AFP) - KINSHASA, 19 APR - Almeno 143 persone sono morte e decine di altre risultano disperse dopo che un'imbarcazione ha preso fuoco sul fiume Congo, nel nord-ovest della Repubblica democratica del Congo. Lo hanno riferito fonti ufficiali. "Un primo gruppo di 131 cadaveri è stato ritrovato mercoledì, mentre altri 12 sono stati recuperati giovedì e venerdì", ha detto Joséphine-Pacifique Lokumu, parlamentare nazionale. Un leader della società civile locale, Joseph Lokondo, ha riferito che "il bilancio delle vittime, ancora provvisorio, è di 145, alcune morte per ustioni, altre per annegamento". (ANSA-AFP).
