Austin, 'una guerra tra Israele ed Hezbollah non è inevitabile'

ROMA, 30 LUG - Una guerra tra Israele ed Hezbollah non è inevitabile: lo ha detto il Segretario alla Difesa degli Stati Uniti, Lloyd Austin, sottolineando che Washington vorrebbe che la situazione si risolvesse in modo diplomatico. Austin, riporta l'agenzia di stampa Reuters sul suo sito, è intervenuto oggi su questo tema durante una conferenza stampa congiunta a Manila, a seguito dei colloqui nel settore della sicurezza tenuti insieme al Segretario di Stato Antony Blinken con le rispettive controparti filippine, Gilberto Teodoro ed Enrique Manalo.
